Quick update: I attempted to download the volume license version from Microsoft's website, but during installation it tells me that my Windows edition is not a volume license edition, and prompts me to exit the installer. If I can't do that, how do I get the volume licensed version of Office 2016 Pro Plus? I can't seem to find it. How can I make this work with the retail version? I'm doing this to bypass getting the volume licensed version. ![]() Next I tried to extract the setup file, or simply set installer path to the setup file, but either way I get the error "This is not a valid/supported Microsoft Office installer!" from MSToolkit. If I try to use EZactivator, I get the error "Cannot Activate because this product is incapable of KMS Activation." You can rearm five times, unless you activate Office by using a KMS host computer. ![]() For more information about the ospp.vbs script, see Tools to manage volume activation of Office. You can use the ospp.vbs script to check the CMID. Hello, I've been browsing reddit/googling and I can't seem to find a solution to my problem. This is important because the KMS host computer uses the CMID to determine the number of unique clients.
